H'ween!

yaaaay! the day is upon us. i remember River Pheonix [RIP]. way before Heath Ledger and after James Dean there was River Pheonix. i feel old, but then again, i AM a proud product of the 80s.

i've already been celebrating. yesterday was the Rocky Horror Picture Show showing at my campus. i wore underwear and combat boots. met a couple of trannies from my home state. can't say their names or post their pictures because they work for the Air Force [one is a cop from back home, the other is a mental health tech] and i don't know if our government wants to be associated with two fellows who look good in drag and who can wear heels better than i can. if you haven't seen the RHPS, please go do it! Dr. F is love! Oh, Rocky..

almost got arrested for looking like a trashy whore. went a bit further and stood on a street corner with my extendable cigarette holder and stuck my thumb out to the oncoming traffic with the trannies. got lots of honks and folks driving around in circles to look at [what they thought were] three ladies. if a cop had stopped us, i would have laughed my petite booty off because one of us was a cop. how weird would that have been?! "uh, yes, officer. i'm a state trooper for the next state over, actually.. so..."

i've got to get together a new costume for tonight. i've got to wake up. and i've put together the pieces of the puzzle. i was very literally drooling at the thought of beaucoup men over the past few weeks not because i am a boy-crazy, superficial dumb girl, but because i was ovulating! nice! so i don't feel bad about admitting to my wet dream starring denis leary. mm, mm, mmm. i love big ole tall lanky men.

a very pretty girl bummed me a cigarette at my job. i've been losing weight like crazy; i can't even fill out the back of my pants! that's kinda no good. i only have one class today and then the games begin. tomorrow is Homecoming. i have so many pictures to upload.

Have a Happy Halloween! Be careful! Don't overdose on prescriptions! Don't get arrested! Upload your pictures and share your night with me!

these are the days that make me question why i want to be a smarty-pants. sorry for not blogging, commenting, hanging out in cyberspace as usual. but my research based cell bio class is a pain in the ass and in the head. i'll get back to normal after this exam in the morning (and i have lots to blog about). 'till then, im here in the library with a buddy holding my head and eating a textbook or two. wish me luck! wish me no sleep!

crushes and a survey.

cherry here, reminding the readers that this blog can sometimes be reduced to nothing but an ornamented tribute to her ego [and her libido. look at Mr. Glover there!]

this is a survey that i ripped from a friend, Bookish.Spazz, who surely ripped it from elsewhere and whatnot. pass it along! i've already seen it several times and the answers are all so interesting. here are my own:

If a significant other broke up with you, what Artist/Band would you blast from your radio and why?
-i would so blast Placebo. they're a pop band, but they are divine! they're known as Britain's dirtiest band and the lyrics are sexually charged and full of angst, medication, and makeup. that's the perfect equation, if you ask me!

"Every step that's synchronized, every broken bone / Reminds me of the seventh time / That I followed you home."

What piece of literature poetry/story (songs don't count) is your favourite, and which is your least favourite?  Why?

-Fave: The Lord of the Rings because completing it is like my trophy. it's so darn long and i have a soft spot for fiction, fairy tales, and elves who look like Orlando Bloom, i imagine.

Least Fave: The Heart of Darkness because i don't like people exploiting Africa, even if the product is only a book. and maybe my teacher did a bad job of teaching this one.

Do you think Vegetarianism is an ideal way of life?

-i've tried it at least once, so i obviously think that vegetarianism is admirable for some reason. i don't bother to do it now; it's not really practical for me. but i think that it can be a good choice for anyone if they choose to do so. just watch the protein intake--take vitamins and eat lots of nuts and such.

What do you look for in potential friends (qualities, looks, etc.)?

-a vibe. all of my worthy friends have an eccentric vibe that i have picked up on. we mesh with values and beliefs. we're opinionated and zealous. we love value, not price. we read capital-L Literature, not smut by Zane. we are all cosmopolitan with huge vocabularies and scandalous stories to tell. looks are definitely not important. most of my friends are the aloof, intelligent type who are really sweet as can be. i don't click well with superficial types or dramatic ones. and obvious mental disorders are a no-no: i can't be in the same room with a bipolar person or someone with ADD [and this is coming from a crazy girl]. if i think that you're crazy--you're really fucked.

What is your personal opinion of what a life goal should be?

-a life goal should be something that one does entirely for themselves. it should not be influenced in any way by another person or another force. it should be based in happiness and it should be huge! a life goal is something that you shouldn't have to explain to someone or need to have validated and accepted. there should also be no misgivings. simple contentment isn't a life goal reached. comfort and habit isn't anything! just because you're comfortable under the bridge and happy even when you're poor doesn't mean that you need to stop setting goals. i once was content with cigarettes, but a life goal of mine is to never stop quitting.

--------------------------------------------------------------
and on the other hand, today has been unusually cold for this part of the South, which means the weather finally dipped below 70 degrees. i was chic in my black velveteen blazer with my messy hair tucked in, and enjoying what is to me the first taste of true autumn weather! and i have declared this the perfect "boyfriend and soup" kind of weather. wha? you ask? i mean that this weather is perfect for hugging up with a nice tall boy who walks you to class and who drives you to a cafe or a nice deli for dinner.

and now my imagination is running away with me and all i can picture is Crispin Glover. he's my current obsession/crush. endure for a moment: he's so beautiful! and he's absolutely out of his mind because he is so brilliant! he's not cocky or even socially accepted like other celebrities. he does weird roles, like Grendel and Willard. he can capture creepiness so well and i just want to bite his nose, really. spread him on a cracker [or my mattress] and eat him alive.

wow. i really needed to get that out. so, now that that's out of my system [i need help], you go ahead and give me a list of some other pretty boys and girls that you all have crushes on and tell me why. are they pretty? smart? have really nice platform boots?

wineskins.

wineskins. wineskins. leather bladders tanned to canteens carrying.. shit.

i don't know. pen-in-mouth, this image is stuck in the grey matter since my world lit class today. it's very fatalistic, really. morbid at least. it's in the same hand as mud becoming flesh.. so then it becomes leather. we are all leather carcass bags, canteens being lugged around. and we're all full of shit.

nice.

i swear that i'm not in a bad mood. i'm actually peachy and haven't had to yell swear-words at traffic today. hmm. my mind is just way too conscious for my own good. River Phoenix said it best. that is to say, he was great up until he killed himself. hmm, if anyone could just get a sense of my thoughts, i would more-than-likely be committed somewhere. my head is way too old and busy and my contemporaries might as well all be on a different planet, save a few bearable ones.

and to conclude the drabble: if left to be a leather wineskin, what are you canteening (other than shit)? i'm curious; i'd have to think a while even to answer for myself..

sexual assault or a really good show?

i've danced to every classic song in my mp3 player thanks to some awesome bands. but then again, i was very nearly sexually assaulted thanks to one of those bands.. such a friendly cover band! eh, i liked it. probably should have shaved a little more though. guys don't like to imagine that real women have body hair anywhere. they're funny like that. sorry to break their illusions by being a mammal who really doesn't like ingrown hairs.. oh well. going home with a 45 year old man probably wouldn't be in my best interest, anyway.

T. moved back in this weekend and i heard some very naughty things going on in my shower for a way long time. not really excited to go in there with my depilatory, if you can imagine why.

[met a pretty boy with gray eyes in a suit. liked my shoes, asked me to dance, and kissed me on the cheek. didn't try anything lewd at all and said that he wouldn' mind dancing with me anytime. he even apologized for some of the Greek system's fuckery down south.. eee!]

i really don't like spending my time thinking about men! but i'll make all of this quick because i just HAVE to get it out:

Marine!Ex got a drunk txt from me of an explicit nature and he responded along the same lines. niiicee. my old teacher that i "mistaked" with very creepily has been trying too hard to get me back. i think that it's funny how someone who gave me homework can't stop trying to drag me to dinner while i regularly blow him off.

whew, that's over! or i hope so! i feel the Carrie of my group of friends. i've got my cigarettes, my computer, empty wine glasses, and way too many guys during the in-between times. but it's fabulous--mostly.

agh! job.. HOMEWORK! i need to get to the chemistry building!!!

My boobs promoting one of the bands on one late night!

things that i have yelled at.

oh, bugger it. this fabulous femme can't keep her cool air all of the time.

Things That I have Yelled at Today [both mentally and quite literally]

8:13 A - upon oversleeping the alarm and looking at my phone. "Fuck! I have orientation at nine!"

10 A - while i look my supervisors in the face with a fake smile and lots of makeup plastered on. When is the soonest I can shower! I need food! My coffee is fucking cold and I'm bloated to Hell!

11:30 A - on the way to class. I speak French; kiss me while I kill my professor today! I'm tired!

12:30 P - leaving class and booking it back to my apartment. "Come the fuck on, you car! I need to get home!"

1:30 P - Fuck world lit.. I can't even read Latin!

3:45 P - in class with the hottest professor ever. I'm starving and I really want to get the hell out of here--right after I look at his butt again!

4:10 P - "Fuck you, Chrome! Why is everything crashing! That's bullshit! I want Facebook now!"

6 P [currently] - I need to calm the fuck down and relax!

PMS, the heat, bad attitude, immaturity, or what? be careful, or i'll yell at you, too! ♥

intense partying and fuckery.

O. M. G. exclamation, exclamation.
so effing much has been going on these wonderful days!
my friend T's birthday party went wonderfully. we were all in heels and watching SATC with champagne and wine right after the football game. i've got some fab photo reminders. as the night progressed, my memory fails, but apparently it was kind of a big deal; people kept showing up looking for me, but i was under a blanket "taking a nap." haha, and i invited some old loser guy over who only had one thing on his mind only to have T's awesome boyfriend lock him out on the balcony alone with his beer and confusion.. i'm a bad person, whatever.

and the next day was another party at someone else's apartment. there was dancing to 80's pop music and jello shots. T threw me off on some [hot] tall guy because she told me he was loaded and drove a Hummer. haha. i didn't care, but he was really sweet. licked a spill off of my dress and lit all of my cigarettes for me. i had to stand on my tippy-toes to kiss his nose! and he's not an asshole at all: gave him my number and got his. he still calls me to this day. definitely gonna see him again.

and the next weekend was another home game for my school, so T was here again to grace me with her presence! she basically moved in for the weekend and this time it wasn't little dresses and heels but university tees and shorts. we even had little face stickers of our school's initial! cuuuute!

there was lots of fuckery to behold: old drunk alumni laughing with their even more drunk kids. stupid fratastic pledges who make you wonder why anyone has to be quite so arrogant. creeper people who kept staring at me and T's lack of clothing or our unique beauty? perhaps both? weird outfits [i'm talking even weird for me]. and the list surely does continue.

been splitting my time talking to some new awesome boy. don't wanna jinx anything [i cross my fingers], but he's really tall [drool], with a big nose and strong jaw. he even goes to church on sundays! and he kinda looks like that guy who plays Clark from Smallville, you know the guy i'm talking about?.. mm mm, good! but whatever. i'm not falling out of my tree over another man anytime soon! i'm keeping the field very wide and clear and there's plenty of room for more than one interest right now [and it's lovely].

haha, i just laughed at something my good friend asked me. she asked me if the illusioned fools in my past are dead from drug overdose yet. random, i know, but it's just an example of how good friends take care of you! i luff her! don'tcha just love good friends?

and while i'm on this kick from my past, an ex of mine who is in the marines now felt the need to contact me before i came home for this weekend. he's really weird now and sentimental over things that are really really old! you would never think that an assault man could be so mushy. but, yeah: we miss each other and blah blah blah. it's so nice hearing his voice and he honestly had the prettiest peepers ever and the best taste in music!

so now for the Big Day!

on my birthday, i was home and things were great! spent the day in a mysterious little town that Willie Morris used to write about in life. didn't see the Witch, but she's there! saw my old house and a bunch of creepy people.. came back home and watched Willard with a bottle of wine and three good home friends. i think we actually finished it, too. i only know that there was a lot of talking about how much of a beautiful insane genius Crispin Glover is and how he should have played Joker.. he is also mm mm, good.

then next was the State Fair when were all good and buzzed off of our asses. fun, fun, fun. it was a walk-through Freak Show and i'm not even talking about the exhibits! this place breeds all sort of southern-grotesque-styled fuckery [horror]. and i wasn't even carded for my mixed drinks! imagine me prancing downtown with a lei around my neck sipping on an exotic drink with a scowl on my face because weirdos even weirder than me and my buds are stepping on my feet! oh, boy. but we all had a good time and i woke up with a tummyache from all of that delicious, but bad carnival food!

yay for me! and next weekend is my late birthday celebration on campus! it's just an excuse for my buds to have a party, but it'll be fun! maybe i can invite my Superman fellow? i'd have to stand on something and jump to give him a kiss. gosh, did i tell ya how pretty and pink those lips are?..

ciao! i must leave! i think that there is some caramel cake and more yummy leftover goodness for me to binge on!

i ♥ autumn.

this is indeed again the hackneyed "i ♥ the fall" post that i drabble out every year. this one will be in which i fail at connecting all of my favorite things, which are all conveniently linked during this wonderful time of year.

despite my being a damned Yankee, there is still some salvation in this time of year for me. the weather is finally dipping below 80 degrees; 78 does count, doesn't it? when there is a wind, it's lovely. i swear that October has the best wind.. the evenings are more beautiful. the moon is more round and mysterious than ever. makes you understand why it's likened to a woman--its article in other languages is feminine and i know why when i just look up. i can snuggle up in toe socks and watch all of my favorite Halloween movies for nights in a row. there is the sate fair back home, there's my birthday, and of course--there's my favorite night of the whole year!

i should really do the Anne Rice Vampire Lestat Fan Club Ball this year. i swear, for one of her biggest fans, i never used my proximity to NOLA to my advantage.  gosh, it would be nice to finally maybe meet her and have her sign one of the many, many books of hers that i've managed to collect in the last five or so years. i need to dust off my 18th century vampire costume and meet some of the other coolest people on the planet  for an evening of fangs and and photos. Anne Rice is good vampire literature. After Stoker comes Rice, but I'm going to get into Twilight soon, i promise. i hear that it's amazing.

as for the actual DAY [or night] that is most important this month, im getting a little anxious. i'm not at home to go all out with decor and i don't know the first thing to do with my apartment. i still don't have a costume!!! what about The Rocky Horror Picture Show? what am i wearing then? yeah, i'm still female under all of my androgen. okay, Harley Quinn for Halloween and Miranda for the RHPS? a Transylvanian, perhaps? oh, Rocky.. a bonfire this year? a house party?

yeah, i'm having a geek-out. deal with it. i have to watch Tim Burton's Nightmare at least once. i also wouldn't mind Beetlejuice, Batman, etc.  i have to support my favorite producer / director. you should come over! i have the most random, yet amazing string of movie nights, ever. and the weather is so perfect for having a boy to wrap his arms around you and buy you coffee!! [i just met a beautiful boy who lives across from me. he called me ma'am when he held the door open for me.. he's a southern gentleman and not a bigot, but i usually go for taller ones, though. ]

screw that! i can wrap my arms around myself and make my own coffee! it's got to be this October moon getting to me!

Lestat et Louis speak the truth!
